Stefanie Hecht

Stefanie Hecht is head of the Open User Lab, which focuses on topics related to user experience, accessibility, and sustainability of digital solutions. Currently, she researches human-centered design of AI-supported administrative processes and the question of how AI can be inclusively integrated into public services.

In projects with industry and public administration at EU, federal, and state levels, additional focus areas besides human-centered and sustainable software design lie particularly in organizational development as well as knowledge transfer with own e-learning formats on topics such as Data Driven Government, Open Government, or Digital Leadership. Particular interest lies in incentivizing data providers and users respectively, and in improving the user experience of data platforms in general and open data platforms in particular.

Stefanie Hecht completed her Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with specializations in Human Computer Interaction and System Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin.
