The 360°-cinema in the National Park “Hohe Tauern” in Austria cost around 2,8 Million Euros and consists of a two-storey cylinder. In the top floor a 360°-panorama with a diameter of 17 meters and a horizontal 12k high-resolution is located. The media player of Fraunhofer FOKUS supplies a synchronized playing of digital media with projector autoalignment. Thanks to the software the images of the projector are adjusted to each other automatically and thus a seamless picture is produced. The Austrian company pro.media Medien- und Studiotechnik GmbH created the integrated video, audio and control systems.
