    In the HYKIST project, a real-time-based AI speech assistance system for basic and emergency medicine is being developed as a pilot. The AI-supported communication is intended to facilitate conversations with medical professionals for people who have only limited German skills. Thanks to automatic speech recognition, machine translation and linkage to a teleconferencing platform, the supervising interpreters are supported in conveying complex medical issues in a user-friendly way.

The technology partners of the BMBF-funded EXPAND+ER WB³ project develop a scalable platform that protects privacy and enables users to search for and receive recommendations for further education courses.

  • IntelliSecTest

    Intelligently supporting Security Testing

    The IntelliSecTest project will combine the commonly used techniques of static analysis and dynamic analysis in order to allow for more comprehensive testing. The Fraunhofer joint project will therefore contribute to making security testing more accessible, while at the same time achieving better test results.

    Although solutions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have gained importance in many economic sectors, they cannot be used in aviation, as they cannot be certified yet. The KIEZ 4.0 project will examine and formulate the technical, the ethical and legal requirements and implications for the use of artificial intelligence in aviation and lay the groundwork for certification approaches.
