Youth welfare converts to digital administration: New IT procedure successfully introduced

Berlin's youth welfare service has made the switch to digital administration. The introduction of the new IT procedure for youth welfare has now been completed successfully and on schedule. It has been in use throughout the state as part of the ISBJ “Integrierte Software Berliner Jugendhilfe ” (Integrated Software Berlin Youth Welfare) since January 1, 2021. More than 3,000 administrative staff and social workers in Berlin's youth welfare offices and the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family Affairs use it to provide services worth several hundred million euros a year for tens of thousands of children.
