Benjamin Dittwald

Benjamin Dittwald completed his master's degree in computer science at the FU Berlin in 2012. Since 2012, he has been working as a research associate at FOKUS, where he leads projects in the areas of open data, data infrastructures and smart cities. He gained exceptional knowledge of open data and data infrastructures by managing the technical implementation of the data portal for Germany “GovData”, the European Data Portal and the Support Centre for Datasharing. In addition, Mr Dittwald supports and advises federal, state and local authorities on the topics of data quality, smart city strategies and scalable data infrastructures.
