At the 6th HbbTV Symposium in Rome, Miggi Zwicklbauer holds a talk on »How to create HbbTV Apps without Programming one Line of Code«. Furthermore, the HbbTV Awards 2017 nominated three apps developed within the EU-project MPAT as finalists in the category »Best use of HbbTV for broadcast enhancement«.  

On both days Fraunhofer FOKUS will present different use cases covering the topics »Addressable TV«, »360° Video On Home TV« and »Synchronized Media Playback«. Additionally a »360° Video Cube« will be installed.

Stephan Steglich holds a talk on »Smart TV 360°« within the session »NextGen TV« and Stefan Pham speaks about »A Standards-based OTT DRM Ecosystem with CMAF, CENC and CPIX« in the session »Advanced Technologies« at the NAB Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference (BEITC).

Stephan Steglich holds a talk on »Technical challenges for the delivery of 360° Videos« and demonstrates the Fraunhofer FOKUS Cloud-based 360° Video Playout for HbbTV.

Louay Bassbouss holds a talk on "Streaming and rendering of high quality 360° videos" at the 2nd ITU-T Mini-Workshop on Immersive Live Experience (ILE) in Geneva.
