At the 10^th FUSECO Forum, November 7-8, 2019, Fraunhofer FOKUS business unit FAME presented 5G Media Streaming technologies. These are further developments on existing FAME solutions that contribute to the large scale EU-project “5G Victori”. 

FAMIUM provides the core components for enabling efficient media delivery and playback over 5G. Related FAME technologies are FAMIUM DASH and FAMIUM SAND, enabling low latency streaming, FAMIUM Deep Encode, providing the optimal encoding profiles and bitrate settings under 5G and furthermore, our Cloud-based 360° Video Playout, deployed in the 5G core network MEC components (Mobile Edge Computing).
