Education & Career
Christian Hein is an expert on model-driven development and model-driven tool integration. He gratuated in 2005 at the Technical University of Berlin with a master degree in computer science (Diplom-Inform.). In 2004, he worked as a student assistant at Fraunhofer FOKUS, since 2005, he is a researcher at the competence center SQC
The first focus of his work was on middleware platforms, model-driven software development and the analysis of static models. Within this fields of work, Christian Hein was involved in various software projects like Qedo or the Open Source Library for OCL (OSLO). He also deals with SOA and cloud computing, infrastructures for coupling tools, the evaluation of models and traceability. In this area, he also works as a researcher and project leader in various projects like ModelBus, Metrino and Tracino.
Christian Hein teaches in the field of model-based software development at the Technical University and Freie Universität Berlin. In addition to his work at Fraunhofer FOKUS, he mentors bachelor and master thesis.
