Also involved were representatives from the automotive industry, mobile communications, municipalities and industry. DIN SPEC provides a guideline for data processing within the framework of mobility management systems.
In order to enable the smoothest possible urban mobility, cross-sector data processing is becoming increasingly important today. For example, public transport, logistics, e-mobility providers and infrastructure need real-time data processing to meet the growing demands of intermodal transport. In addition, the new DIN SPEC establishes a guideline to help cities participate in the economic development of modern mobility concepts.
The new DIN SPEC is aimed at transport providers, mobility service providers, business representatives and municipalities. It is a further step towards qualitative and sustainable transport planning in the increasingly networked city. DIN SPEC is available as a free download.
