Prof Dr Peter Parycek is head of the Competence Centre Öffentliche IT (ÖFIT) (Public IT). The think tank develops impulses for the digital transformation in the public sphere. He has been responsible for the Department of Electronic Governance since 2015 and has been Vice-Rector for Teaching/Academic Continuing Education and Digital Transformation (CDO) at Danube University Krems since 2021. From August 2018 to 2021, he was a member of the Digital Council of the German Federal Government. The nine-member international panel of experts advised the German government in direct dialogue.
