SCAMSTOP

Mar. 01, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2011

NGNI is taking the lead in the upcoming European project SCAMSTOP which will target scams and fraud detection in VoIP networks. Fraud is a common problem in current telecommunication networks, e.g. stealing calling credentials to place unauthorized calls or manipulating a PBX for personal use. In the project, fraud and service misuse in NGNs will be evaluated, and the necessary countermeasures will be suggested.

The project has a 2 year duration and 6 international partners.
