WIND
WIND — Next Generation

The WIND - Next Generation information system enables a variety of customizable warning and information services to be made available via smartphone apps. The aim of this »all-round warning service« is that timely alerts in the various areas of life enable users to make necessary preparations and prevent personal injury or damage to property.

The WiSima project is developing proposals to improve passengers' perception of safety. Using a special evaluation method, existing measures, such as video surveillance in trains and stations, are recorded and evaluated in terms of their cost-efficiency.

XIFI

The goal of XIFI is to establish a sustainable marketplace for trial infrastructures and Future Internet services. XIFI will achieve this vision by integrating and federating a multiplicity of heterogeneous environments – starting from the generic and specific enablers provided by the FI-WARE core platform and the FI-PPP use cases and early trials.

XIVT
Duration: Nov. 01, 2018 to Oct. 31, 2021

Within the XIVT project, a method and toolchain will be defined for testing highly configurable, variant-rich embedded systems. This will enable a highly effective, cost-efficient quality assurance, allowing the shift to autonomous, flexible and adaptive applications. The method is founded on a knowledge-based analysis of requirements. It is expected that XIVT methods will result in higher test coverage, more flexible processes of higher quality and better products.

The innovation project aims to bring a Smart City backend solution to market by testing and extending it within the two FIRE facilities FUESCO Playground in Germany (using the standard compliant OpenMTC framework) and the FIT IoT-Lab in France (using a wide range of programmable sensors).
