Online platform of CityLAB Berlin for ideas and projects around COVID-19

News from Mar. 24, 2020

CityLAB Berlin launches the new online platform “Hack the Crisis” to support ideas and projects of the Berlin community all around COVID-19. The platform is intended to promote the exchange between health authorities, science and IT experts and enables all committed people to submit proposals or specific problems which will be worked on together. The Digital Public Services business unit of Fraunhofer FOKUS is participating in the initiative as a partner.

We cordially invite all interested parties to participate and contribute their ideas, projects and experience: Both existing projects and new proposals can be submitted. There is also the possibility to comment on existing proposals with your own expertise. We look forward to any input at hackthecrisis.citylab-berlin.org. The approaches to contain the crisis are manifold and range from prevention and knowledge transfer to neighbourhood help and the development of new apps or hardware.

The “Hack the Crisis” platform not only allows voting on ideas and winning over comrades-in-arms for concrete project implementation: Health authorities, hospitals and other experts can also report needs and provide feedback on proposals.

The CityLab Berlin is a project of the Technology Foundation Berlin and is funded by the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Senate Chancellery.
