SmartOrchestra Project

Jan. 01, 2016 to Dec. 31, 2018

The goal of the SmartOrchestra project is to develop an open and standard-based service platform that enables the openness and utilization of public and business-related services. Based on these services, a trustworthy provider should be able to market, offer and possibly operate the platform. In addition, the platform should allow the integration of existing Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) along with the new sensors and actuators with the aim of facilitating service composition with other third-party services based on state-of-the-art technologies.

“SmartOrchestra enables existing cyber-physical applications as smart services to be combined, orchestrated and promoted in an open market space.”

The project will start in January 2016 and is going to be executed in three years. The Fraunhofer FOKUS team is going to contribute to the integration of cyber-physical systems based on M2M/IoT technologies with the smart service platform and is going to operate a FIWARE node during the execution of the project.
