Open Baton Rel. 5

The NFV MANO Framework for Orchestrating Network Services from the Cloud to the Edge

Open Baton is an open source framework providing a reference implementation of the ETSI NFV MANO specification, currently at its fifth release. In this demonstration, Open Baton will be used to manage multiple network service deployments on top of distributed NFV Infrastructures, comprising heterogeneous virtualization technologies (hypervisor-based and container-based). Several Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) from the telco and IT domains will be used for demonstrating the easiness of using the Open Baton framework in composing complex end-to-end network services. Regardless the selected infrastructure (cloud, edge, or fog), the Open Baton framework offers a set of additional Operational Support Services (OSS) components (autoscaling, fault management, etc.) optimising the runtime lifecycle of the deployed network services, providing support for all aspects of the FCAPS model. Join us for understanding how to get started immediately.
