TUNER Logo
TUNER – Trust in Networked Environments
Duration: Aug. 01, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2012

The TUNER project addresses current concerns about data privacy. It therefore aims to mitigate the risks involved in open networked environments. The project’s research results will be used for the creation of an open-source platform that supports the development of trustworthy service environments.

aXBench – AUTOSAR Extensible Workbench
Duration: Jan. 01, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2012

aXBench is a softwaretool that makes it possible to realize different system variants in automotive engineering in compliance with the AUTOSAR standard. With aXBench, SQC has established a prototype for the function-oriented development of embedded systems in a vehicle.

TEMEA Logo
TEMEA
Duration: Jan. 01, 2008 to Dec. 31, 2012

The TEMEA (Testing Specification Technologies and Methodology for Embedded Real Time Systems in the Automobile) research projects aims to create an integrated multi-domain testing technology specially tailored to meet the requirements of the automobile industry.

Study: Open Government Data Germany
Duration: Jan. 01, 2012 to July 31, 2012

The free access to and the proactive provision of information and governmental data contribute substantially to increased transparency, the facilitation of participation and an increase in quality and efficiency. In addition, data is a valuable resource if it is refined by commerce and industry through processing and provision for everyone’s benefit.

MUSE
Duration: July 01, 2010 to June 30, 2012

The goal of MUSE (Multicore-Architecture for Sensor-based Position Tracking in Space) is to improve the positioning of spacecraft. In this project, SQC explores to what extent modern multicore processors are suited for analyzing sensor data in space, and how appropriate computer architecture should be set up.

MyFIRE
Duration: June 01, 2010 to June 30, 2012

The challenge for the project MyFIRE is to develop the use of experimental facilities in Europe in particular by increasing awareness of testing related best practices. The project will ensure a balance between the requirements for researcher’s collaboration and the stakeholder’s expectations.

Verde
Duration: June 01, 2009 to June 30, 2012
The expected outcome of the VERDE project is a net improvement of productivity, predictability and cost control in the development process. The VERDE solution will be readily exploitable by software engineering vendors and service providers.
VirtuOS
Duration: July 01, 2010 to Mar. 31, 2012

The standard AUTOSAR already encapsulates a variety of approaches for integration of a broad array of functions in the car. Yet given the different safety requirements for the huge number of individual components, these approaches need to be re-assessed. Therefore, VirtuOS establishes new processes, tools and methods.

CESAR Logo
CESAR
Duration: Mar. 01, 2009 to Feb. 29, 2012

To maintain the European leading edge position in the transportation as well as automation market, CESAR aims to boost cost efficiency of embedded systems development and safety processes by an order of magnitude.

BODS – Berlin Open Data Strategy
Duration: Apr. 01, 2011 to Dec. 31, 2011

Data and information are the raw material of the 21st century and public data will therefore play a key role in tomorrow’s cities. The Berlin Open Data Portal daten.berlin.de is the first data portal of its kind in Germany. It provides public data in a structured, machine-readable format and under free license.

OMA-SUPL – Development of SUPL 2.0 conformance test
Duration: Jan. 01, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2011

The SUPL 2.0 protocol addresses the UserPlane Location Protocol (ULP) defined by the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) interoperability working Group. Based on the informal definition of test case scenarios, we were developing the implementation of the test using the Testing and Test control notation TTCN-3.

DEVICE-SOFT
Duration: Sep. 01, 2009 to Aug. 31, 2011

The main goal of the project is to disseminate, improve, integrate, and deploy deductive verification technologies into the industrial domain of safety critical embedded systems. The project is centered around the Frama-C framework and its deductive verification plug-in.
