Dr. Christopher Krauß elected to the board of the BITKOM working group “Future of Learning“

The BITKOM working group on digital education has been reorganised. It is now called “Future of Learning“ – a sign of the further development of modern, digital education in society, business and politics. We are delighted that FOKUS researcher Dr Christopher Krauß has been elected to the working group's executive committee.

The working group of the digital association BITKOM, which previously operated under the name “Learning Solutions” and focused primarily on technological solutions for continuing education and e-learning, has been reorganised. Under the new title “Future of Learning”, the focus will be more on holistic educational processes in the future. This is not just about digital tools, but also about how people can learn and gain qualifications in a sustainable way in a changing world of work and life.

The board was also re-elected as scheduled. In addition to FOKUS scientist Dr. Christopher Krauß, Leo Marose (StackFuel GmbH), Patrick Walther (HI Factory) and Anne-Sophie Panzer (ZAUBAR) were appointed as deputy chairpersons. Jessica Schlauer (TECHEM) will once again take on the role of chairperson. Together, they want to provide impetus and actively promote the further development of digital education in Germany.

With its new name and focused content, the working group aims to shed even more light on the topic of education from three perspectives: as a foundation for society, the economy and politics. Dr Christopher Krauß emphasises: “Modern education ecosystems need interoperability, strong networks and the courage to break new ground. I want to play an active role in shaping the digital education landscape in Germany – in a practical, open and future-oriented way. The BITKOM Future of Learning working group offers a unique platform for this, enabling us to provide the right impetus together with committed experts from business, science and politics.”
