Education & Career
Ramon Barakat graduated with a master’s degree in computer science from the Technical University of Berlin and has worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS since graduating. His work in industry and research projects includes software quality assurance, model-based testing, and security and penetration testing. His current focus is on security testing with fuzzing, particularly on Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST), which integrates different testing methods such as static analysis and dynamic testing, to improve their efficiency and to deliver quantifiable results through statistical measures.
