D-MINT

The D-MINT consortium will develop with 27 partners a new approach to model-based testing which combines various system aspects and system models during test generation. Every partner provides branch-specific requirements, concepts and ideas. The results are combined in a technology for automated software-engineering.

The main objective of the DECIDE action is to provide a new generation of multi-cloud service-based software framework, enabling techniques and mechanisms to design, develop, and dynamically deploy multi-cloud aware applications in an ecosystem of reliable, interoperable, and legal compliant cloud services.
DeepEncode
Duration: Sep. 01, 2019 to Aug. 31, 2021

DeepEncode researches and develops new methods for AI-supported per-title encoding for VOD and low-latency live streaming.  The project aims at reducing the time for compression and transmission of video content and at the same time increasing the streaming quality. This will lead to significant long-term cost savings and an improvements in the quality of experience (QoE) for the end user.

DEVICE-SOFT
Duration: Sep. 01, 2009 to Aug. 31, 2011

The main goal of the project is to disseminate, improve, integrate, and deploy deductive verification technologies into the industrial domain of safety critical embedded systems. The project is centered around the Frama-C framework and its deductive verification plug-in.

DIAMONDS (Development and Industrial Application of Multi-Domain Security Testing Technologies) addresses the increasing need for systematic security testing methods by developing techniques and tools that can efficiently be used to secure networked applications in different domains.

Digitalisation also does not stop at the craft trades. The “DigiHand” collaborative project shows how this sector will be working in the future. A traveling exhibition of the same name shows the results of the project.

In the DIGINET-PS project, connected and automated driving is researched in the urban test field of Berlin. The focus is on combining modern smart city technologies with future vehicles.

VISCOM has developed a new solution for digital dome projection in close cooperation with Carl Zeiss. It allows digital images and videos to be displayed on a concave hemisphere using standard projectors and commercially available PCs – without loss of quality even in the case of high-resolution images.
