Frühwarnung Dom Republik
Strengthening the early warning system in the Dominican Republic
Duration: May 01, 2021 to Oct. 31, 2021

Every year, the Dominican Republic suffers from floods and other natural events that often have catastrophic consequences. Strategies for effective population warning via the existing local early warning system were already developed in a previous project in 2017. The goal now is to further strengthen the early warning system.

Study on the Interaction between Open Source Software and FRAND licensing in Standardisation
Duration: Jan. 01, 2018 to Apr. 30, 2019

The study on the Interaction between Open Source Software and FRAND licensing in Standardisation on behalf of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission is part of the initiative “Setting out the EU approach to Standard Essential Patents”. Within the study based on a review of the literature case studies and a survey will be conducted.

TAG CLOUD is a European project co-funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission that will generate lifelong engagement with cultural heritage through social media, augmented reality and storytelling applications based on the cloud.

To open up the image archives of the Berlin Ethnological Museum to the public, the museum and Fraunhofer FOKUS developed the Tag.Check.Score. crowdsourcing app in the context of the Code for Europe initiative. 

TAROT – Training And Research On Testing

TAROT (Training And Research On Testing) is a Marie Curie Research Training Network (MCRTN). It focuses on protocols, services, software and systems testing. The TAROT network aims to strengthen and develop the collaboration among major European testing communities.

The TBL project has the goal of realizing a test system capable of testing the performance indicators of network elements during their operation. The Test System verifies the performance parameters by sending a huge number of requests in a short period of time.
