R&D and Prototyping of 6G, Agentic and NTN networks

Fraunhofer FOKUS offers a first Agentic Core. Based on the highly innovative Open6GCore 3GPP-aligned toolkit designed for cloud-native, ultra-flexible and ultra-scalable core networks, a pervasive layer of AI has been added in which decisions ranging from specification to code to deployment to runtime adaptations to services offered to users are made by autonomous agents. Together with OpenLANES, the large network emulator which validates AI decisions in very complex environments, an end-to-end, convergent telecom-AI environment is created, giving the opportunity to bring your research to the forefront of a rapidly changing environment.

6G Platform Germany

The goal of the project “Platform for Future Communication Technologies and 6G (6G Platform)“ is both to make scientific contributions to the content design of 6G and to ensure the scientific-organizational support of the processes that are necessary for the successful implementation of the German-European 6G program.

As part of the Open6GHub+ consortium, Fraunhofer FOKUS is integrating its latest 6G core network developments, providing a basis for flexible and adapted end-to-end testbeds.
