In the context of the European Technology Initiative ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking, the project CRYSTAL aims at fostering Europe’s leading edge position in embedded systems engineering, particularly regarding quality and cost effectiveness of safety-critical embedded systems and architecture platforms.

Curbside space is an important ressource in urban traffic, but its availability is limited. To provide a more transparent and flexible use, the Smart mobility team is developing a curbside screening solution that integrates diverse sensor sources to provide an accurate picture of the current road situation.

The D-MINT consortium will develop with 27 partners a new approach to model-based testing which combines various system aspects and system models during test generation. Every partner provides branch-specific requirements, concepts and ideas. The results are combined in a technology for automated software-engineering.

DeepEncode researches and develops new methods for AI-supported per-title encoding for VOD and low-latency live streaming.  The project aims at reducing the time for compression and transmission of video content and at the same time increasing the streaming quality. This will lead to significant long-term cost savings and an improvements in the quality of experience (QoE) for the end user.

The German Electronical Reporting System for Infection Protection (DEMIS) places the highest demands on flexibility int the definition of reports and their content. This is the only way the public health service will be able to respond appropriately and, above all quickly to outbreaks in the future.

The main goal of the project is to disseminate, improve, integrate, and deploy deductive verification technologies into the industrial domain of safety critical embedded systems. The project is centered around the Frama-C framework and its deductive verification plug-in.

DIAMONDS (Development and Industrial Application of Multi-Domain Security Testing Technologies) addresses the increasing need for systematic security testing methods by developing techniques and tools that can efficiently be used to secure networked applications in different domains.
