FAME @ IBC 2022
After two years of pandemic hiatus, we're glad to be back in person and present our latest developments. The IBC 2022 will take place from September 9-12, 2022 in Amsterdam. Visit us in Hall 8 at Booth 8.B80 to see the following solutions:
- Video AI for per-scene live encoding: With an objective of achieving bitrate savings while maintaining optimal quality, our FAMIUM Deep Encode solution utilizes AI methods to enhance and automate context-aware Per-Title/Scene-Encoding processes.
- Addressable TV (DAI, SSAI, DAS): FAMIUM DAI enables dynamic ad insertion (DAI) and flexible over-the-top streaming workflows including VoD-to-Live services across a multitude of devices and platforms via MPEG DASH and HLS. DAI can be delivered per user and in real time, in traditional live linear streams and on-demand content. FAMIUM DAI enables dynamic ad substitution (DAS) in HbbTV and supports SCTE35 based cue point signaling.
- Streaming analytics and live QoE: FAMIUM SAND is a streaming analytics solution that collects and analyzes streaming metrics to provide in-depth video client session data and streaming performance information like average throughput, buffer level, representation switch events and initial playout delay (QoE metrics defined in ISO/IEC 23009-1) to help deeply understand streaming problems and client behavior to allow optimization of video workflows.
- Metaverse over 5G: FAME 5G media testbed (F5GMT) enables the development, testing, evaluation and demonstrations of Media Applications and Services operated within a 5G/6G environment. It runs on top of our Open5GCore implementation and commercial off-the-shelf 5G NR Hardware. It supports 5G Media Hybrid Broadcast/Unicast Streaming capabilities powered by 5G-MAG. It incorporates the Network Based Media Processing (NBMP) standard with 5G technology to easily create, deploy and run Media Workflows. The 5G Media Streaming client will be built on top of the DASH Reference Player dash.js.
