FAME @ IBC 2023
Lets connect at the leading conference for broadcast, streaming and innovative video technology and experience our latest developments. The IBC Show 2023 will take place from September 15-18, 2023 at the RAI Convention Center Amsterdam. Visit us at Booth 8.B80 to get in touch and experience our solutions:
- Green Streaming through Video AI for per-scene live encoding: With an objective of achieving bitrate savings while maintaining optimal quality, our FAMIUM Deep Encode solution utilizes AI methods to enhance and automate context-aware Per-Title/Scene-Encoding processes.
- FAMIUM das.js: The FAMIUM das.js solution enables Dynamic Ad Substitution in HbbTV. Designed as a flexible and easy to integrate library, das.js provides APIs to support stream event handling, ad prefetching, broadcast-broadband and broadband-broadcast transitions, VAST-based ad beaconing and communication with the host application. In addition to standard HbbTV 1.5 and 2.X, das.js offers MSE-based player support, enhancing the viewing experience through ad-preloading on single decoder devices. Finally, das.js provides support for the fast media switching API introduced with the HbbTV-TA specification.
- Streaming analytics and live QoE: FAMIUM SAND is a streaming analytics solution that collects and analyzes streaming metrics to provide in-depth video client session data and streaming performance information like average throughput, buffer level, representation switch events and initial playout delay (QoE metrics defined in ISO/IEC 23009-1) to help deeply understand streaming problems and client behavior to allow optimization of video workflows.
- Metaverse Testbed: The 1ClickMetaverse Testbed is an environment for testing and evaluating consumer and enterprise Metaverse experiences developed with popular 3D graphics engines under various network conditions, deployment scenarios, and streaming technologies. The 1ClickMetaverse testbed integrates the FAMIUM Metaverse framework, which enables the rendering and streaming of compute-intensive 3D applications on nearly any device. The compute-intensive 3D graphics processing is offloaded to remote servers running on-premise, on the edge (e.g., of the 5G network), or in the cloud, while the rendered views are streamed to end devices for display.
