AIDA-Symphony

Aug. 15, 2015 to Dec. 31, 2017

Up to one hundred computers in a car ensure a safe driveability. Furthermore, there are systems for the communication with the environment, such as the traffic infrastructure. Automotive manufacturers and suppliers work together in the development of such software systems.

To ensure the eventual compatibility and necessary software quality of the individual components, a defined process is required that facilitates the cooperation of all parties involved. For the exchange of technical information the AUTOSAR standard is utilised. The BMW Group's Symphony Project integrates development data from various data sources at BMW into one data model and tests the consistency.

In this project FOKUS has worked on an AUTOSAR generator that generates an AUTOSAR description from the BMW development data and adjusts it, so that it can be delivered to a supplier.
