The 5-sides CAVE has been installed in the competence center Virtual Engineering Rhein-Neckar - a common project of Hochschule Mannheim and John Deere - by the German company imsys Immersive Systeme GmbH & Co. KG. It is a showcase of Fraunhofer FOKUS' desktop warping and autoalignment technology, developed together with NVIDIA. This works at graphic driver level and enables arbitrary programs to be warped and blended on arbitrarily shaped screens.
