The future is a connected one. Millions of sensors are already collecting data from our everyday lives. These data are transmitted and analyzed through the Internet. With the help of the Internet, machines are controlled, real-time information can be displayed on our mobile phone and vehicles will drive autonomously. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the basis for completely new business models.

At the embedded world 2018, Fraunhofer FOKUS will be showing a test product for IoT applications. Using the example of an elevator controlled through the Internet, you can experience how protocol and infrastructure tests for the Internet of Things are carried out.

At a second exhibit, we introduce our WebModeler – a tool for collaborative UML modeling on the Web. We present you how multiple users can work on modeling projects simultaneously and beyond company boundaries.
