When existing communication networks fail, reliable alternatives are needed. As part of the BDBOS AMADEUS project, Fraunhofer FOKUS worked with partners to develop a deployable broadband solution for crisis and disaster response operations that can be operated from the air, independent of existing infrastructure. The solution enables robust communication, the transmission of high-resolution situational overviews, and the use of critical digital services for emergency responders and control centers. At PMRExpo, Fraunhofer FOKUS will provide information about the solution and its potential applications in civil protection.
