Andrea Duerager is a media research specialist within the Red Bull company, especially focused on TV research regarding ServusTV Austria and Germany. Examples of her main tasks are the analysis of the daily performance of the programme, evaluations of formats and slots, the realization of qualitative studies, forecasts etc. She has been involved in the HbbTV Tracking Project, since it started two years ago. Within this project she is responsible for the adaption of the analytical tool to common requirements of TV research and for the empirical testing as well as the further development of the measurement. In the past she worked for the University of Salzburg as a researcher and lecturer within the Department of Communication Studies and is still teaching basics of statistics and empirical quantitative work. She holds a Doctor in Philosophy, Master degrees in Communication Studies and Pedagogics and an MIM (Master in Management).
