François
Daoust is staff Contact for the Second Screen Presentation Working Group at
W3C. He has been involved in standardisation at W3C since 2007, serving as
staff contact for the Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group, the Web and TV
Interest Group, the Web Real-Time Communications Working Group and more
generically speaking trying to bring the Web on a wide range of devices within
W3C Ubiquitous Web Domain. François is particularly interested in multi-screen
scenarios, drafting possible technical solutions in a related EU-funded project
MediaScape. When he is not busy with W3C, François tries to practice Web
technologies and has developed a number of cross-platform Web applications
through positions in French start-ups (2000-2006, 2011-2013) as well as in Microsoft (2006-2007).
