Kiyoshi Tanaka is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Social Information Studies at Otsuma Women’s University in Tokyo, Japan since 2020. His current interest includes online live experience and information assistance services. Before devoting himself to teaching, he worked as a Senior Research Engineer, Supervisor at NTT Service Evolution Laboratories, where he researched and developed media related services such as IPTV, digital signage, and immersive live experience. He had been engaged in the international standardization work for ITU-T SG16 and W3C. He received a B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. in communication engineering from Osaka University, Japan.
