Matthew Scharr is a Software Development Manager at AWS Elemental. He has 10 years of experience with OTT streaming video workflows. Matthew currently leads engineering development for AWS Elemental MediaTailor's Server Side Ad Insertion team, a content personalization and monetization service that allows video providers to serve targeted ads to end users at broadcast quality. His recent work focuses on delivering manifest manipulation for DASH and HLS streaming formats that can scale for millions of concurrent viewers.
