Dr. Tilman Buchner is Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) at SevenVentures, the venture arm of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.

In his position he is responsible for building up sustainable digital business models for certain market segments. In addition he supervises the mobile app portfolio of the Pro7Sat1 group on a corporate level. Buchner is an expert in mobile IT technologies and a thought leader in how to monetize the mobile internet. He focuses in his work on customer value driven development and the smart combination of outstanding interaction design, gamification pattern and high performance native programming.

Parallel to his work at SevenVentures and Pro7Sat1, he is Founder and CEO of friends4school, Germany’s first crowd funding platform for schools and highly engaged in social entrepreneurship. Previously to his current positions he built up the mobile business of Scout24 Group, European largest online marketplace and gained consultancy experience with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

Tilman Buchner received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aachen Technical University and holds a master`s degree in business administration. Studies aboard at Seoul National University as well as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have shaped his academic career
