Dirk Bartels is Head of Product Management at Idealo Internet GmbH, a subsidiary of the Axel Springer AG. Prior to Idealo, Dirk held several leading product positions in the global software industry. He was co-founder and CEO of POET Software, a pioneer of object database management systems, a pre-cursor to today's popular NoSQL and Graph databases.
