Alexander Adolf is one of the pioneers of digital TV in Germany. He helped in its commercial launch in 1996, and has spent all of his career since then with PayTV operators, technology providers, and CE manufacturers. In 1997, he joined the DVB TM-GBS technical experts group, which he is chairing since 2000. Since 2010 he is working as an independent consultant for digital broadcast technology as the owner of Condition-ALPHA. Mr. Adolf is a member of the Association of Engineers in Germany (VDI).
