Rainer Kellerhals, Industry Lead Media & Entertainment EMEA at Microsoft, advises large media and entertainment companies on how they can leverage the Microsoft platform to drive their digital transformation. With 25 years of experience in solution development and sales in the media industry, he contributes to setting Microsoft’s strategy for the Media & Entertainment industry, working with Microsoft’s sales and marketing organization, engineering groups, and commercial partner organization.

Mr Kellerhals joined Microsoft in 2006 and has held several solution sales and sales management positions in the European and worldwide sales, marketing, and services organization at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr Kellerhals held senior management positions at one of Europe’s most successful independent software vendors for large-scale media asset management systems, where his responsibilities included product strategy, marketing, and sales management.

Mr Kellerhals holds an M.D. (Diplom) in business administration and mechanical engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.
