Ali oversees the technical development of Freesat’s media products and leads the architecture and engineering teams. Since 2009, Ali has worked across the media technology industry specialising in the standardisation of technologies for interactive TV. Ali started his career in research and development at Philips Research Laboratory before commencing graduate studies and taking on a teaching role at the University of Cambridge. Ali obtained a degree in computer science and engineering mathematics from the University of Bristol.
