Christos Tranoris is a Research Associate at the University of Patras Greece in the area of Cloud/Native Computing, Network Function Virtualization, Software Defined Networking and 5G architecture and services. He has significant experience in the development of experimentation infrastructures and tools and he participates in innovation activities of related European projects like 5G-VINNI, 5G-VICTORI and 5G-SOLUTIONS.

The presentation will discuss the 5GinFIRE achievements in terms of how the project provided a large distribute infrastructure, available for NFV and 5G experimentation. It will present the architecture, the 5GinFIRE experimentation process, available tools, as well as the projects results from a series of open calls.
