Abstract

University Of Bristol 5G Testbed Overview And Capabilities. A Fully Fledged Smart City Experimental Testbed

The University of Bristol 5G testbed is located in the heart of Bristol and it is a fully capable smart city platform of diverse wireless technologies. The testbed is equipped with edge compute servers that are orchestrated automatically and with virtualisation can provide isolated programmable networks for different experiments and applications. As of today multiple experiments and applications have  successfully run over the smart city testbed and presented their results to international conferences, project delivery outcomes and also for commercial use.
