Software and Algorithm Development for Quantum Computers

Until now, quantum computing has mainly been a topic for fundamental research. In the meantime, however, concrete application concepts are emerging increasingly. Despite the rapid development, however, there are still many open questions in software and algorithm development: How can a higher-level programming language for quantum computers be developed? How can complex quantum programs be validated? And how can they be executed on quantum computers?

Fraunhofer FOKUS scientists are working on these questions in the Qompiler and EniQmA projects. You can learn more about our quantum computing research at the European Quantum Technologies Conference.
