Wolfgang Leindecker is currently responsible for the Business Unit Industrial at TTTech, focusing on Industrial IoT and Deterministic Networking. Previously, he successfully started up 2 new business units at Kapsch CarrierCom in the field of Internet of Things as Vice President M2M & Public Transport, taking them to 25+ Mio EUR revenue within 3 years. Before joining Kapsch, Wolfgang Leindecker was COO of NextiraOne Austria. Wolfgang has gained some 20 years of experience in the IT, OT and telecommunications field with 15+ years in top management positions. He holds 2 degrees from the Technical University of Vienna as well as an MBA from the WU Vienna.

Abstract

In this talk we will give an overview of the core technologies that will be crucial in future industrial IoT platforms: OPC UA, TSN and Fog Computing. By looking at what they are all about as well as their respective state of development we derive the value of future industrial IoT platforms that manage to incorporate these technologies seamlessly.
