Patrick Weber coordinates Industrial Internet Projects at the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institute (IIC German Regional Team). In his work as a researcher he addresses Business Capabilities und Business Models in the context of the Industrial Internet/Industry 4.0. 

The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC): Roadmap 


The Industrial Internet Consortium is the world’s leading organization transforming business and society by accelerating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The mission is to deliver a trustworthy IIoT in which the world’s systems and devices are securely connected and controlled to deliver transformational outcomes.

The Industrial Internet Consortium was founded in March 2014 to bring together the organizations and technologies necessary to accelerate the growth of the Industrial Internet by identifying, assembling and promoting best practices. Membership includes small and large technology innovators, vertical market leaders, researchers, universities and government organizations.

The talk gives a brief introduction of the organization, the working groups as well as the ongoing testbeds.
