The Future of oneM2M in the Industrial IoT: Opening up the Potential of the Transport Industry

Abstract

Beyond the data and applications resulting from multiple sensors in industrial applications, the next step for industrial IoT solutions is to integrate with cities and their environment to optimise operations and tracking capabilities. However, for this integration to be possible, an open framework for exchanging data and applications is needed. This presentation will share results and insight from a commercial-grade multi-region deployment of oneM2M, which has effectively integrated transportation data in an open marketplace as an initial step to open the horizons of industrial IoT.
