Dr. Luigi Licciardi is currently director in Huawei Technologies (SID). He represents Huawei in TMF Collaboration Committee and 5GSA Executive Committee. His activity is now targeted to Digital Transformation in the Operations domain and 5G Business and Open Digital architecture, based on Network Slicing. In 2016 he founded Prospettiva Digitale, a high level consultancy company to promote innovation in the ICT technologies. He was Senior Technology Advisor for some leading Technology Companies. He matured a 30 year experience in the Telecom domain with executive roles as VP in TIM in charge of different departments (Industry Relations, Mobile Handsets and Innovative solutions, Convergent Access Technologies, , System on Chip, Network Management, Switching Technologies). As Head of the Standards and IPRs in TIM, he was member of the Boards of ETSI, OPNFV and NGMN, member of TMF Executive Committee, member of the Leadership Team in the NB-IoT Forum in GSMA. He was directly involved in 5G standardization and deployment, including the publication of the NGMN first 5G White Paper (in 2015). He was named as inventor in many patents and author of papers and books on the mentioned ICT areas.
