Daniel-Constantin Mierla

He co-founded Kamailio project (www.kamailio.org), a scalable and flexible open source SIP server used in a large set of deployments, from VoIP to VoLTE/IMS, WebRTC and IoT. Daniel has a Master degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Polytechnics University of Bucharest. 

His experience was accumulated working as consultant for Orange Romania, branch of French Orange mobile operator, and researcher in network communications at FOKUS Fraunhofer Institute, Berlin, Germany. For the last years, he works as a consultant for Asipto in the areas of Real Time Communications and Internet of Things, at the same time leading the development and management of Kamailio project. Daniel is a proponent of open source and open communication systems, promoting the technologies that make human interaction with everything faster and a better experience.
