Dr. Kentaro Ishizu

NICT, Japan

Dr. Ishizu received Ph.D degree in computer science in 2005 from Kyushu university, Japan. Since then, Dr. Ishizu has been working with NICT of Japan and dedicated to R&D mainly on heterogeneous wireless networks, cognitive radio systems, and TV White Space systems. His current interests include spectrum sharing, micro operator architecture and inter-operator cooperation for 5G and beyond, for which he is managing a R&D team of NICT.

His team has conducted various experiments on cognitive radio and TV White Space with supports from wide area of governments and research institutes in the world. His research achievements were published as book chapters. He has been involved with international standardizations in IEEE802, ETSI, 3GPP, IETF and so on.
