Abstract

Local Licences For 5G In 3700-3800 MHz In Germany

In Germany, the 3.5 GHz band is awarded for nationwide licenses with strict coverage requirements to be fulfilled by fixed target dates. The 3700-380 MHz range is designated for local licenses for company internal communications only. The local frequency utilization allows the industry to fulfil the requirements i.e. in case of safety, confidentiality and special use cases.

This presentation gives an overview of conditions for local frequencies and provides information about the licencing procedure.
