Graduated at University of Sarajevo – faculty for electrical engineering, department for telecommunications – in 1993 and received his PhD from Dresden University of Technology (Germany) – department for electrical engineering and information technologies – in 2004. After two years working in area of software development for telecommunications systems and 10 years of experience from several collaborative projects, working in academic environment as researcher and project manager, joined Eurescom in 2006 where he works as Programme Manager in various EU projects, acting also as project coordinator, and manages Eurescom strategic studies.

He has been involved in the Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) activities from the beginning in number of FP6, FP7, and Horizon 2020 projects and is coordinator of the 5GINFIRE project. He is also involved in a number of 5G / 5G PPP projects focusing on early trials and experimentation in context of the future 5G communications networks
