5G standards have been built over many scenarios and options. Options need to be discarded to ensure industry focus and success.

• NSA 5G (EPC+) deployment only as a tactical strategy for eMBB over smartphones.
• A multi access common core (including SA) allows deployment of critical services.

Industry should not loose focus on communication services and should offer new Critical Services (IoT, uRLL…), but some critical gaps must be solved asap (slicing, signaling, standard maturity…)

5G implies a new Cloud Native paradigm, with impact in networks, processes and cultural transformation. Resilience is a must.
