The annual event has become an important meeting place for scientists conducting research in the field of quantum computing. This was also evident from the approximately 60 international participants.

This year's meeting focused on topics such as circuit synthesis, optimization and rewriting, as well as the complexity of optimizing quantum circuits. Another important topic was new techniques for compiling efficient quantum circuits while taking fault tolerance and architectural constraints into account.

A poster session was introduced for the first time, which encouraged a lively exchange among participants.
