Nassrin Hajinejad takes up a professorship for media informatics in Berlin

Prof. Dr. Nassrin Hajinejad, research associate at our Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT), has accepted a professorship in media informatics at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW) as of 1 October 2024. Her work will focus on the application of information and communication technologies in the areas of Smart City, Smart Country and Smart Society.
Nassrin Hajinejad completed her doctorate in the field of human-computer interaction at the University of Bremen and previously worked as a coach in the Future Design program at Coburg University of Applied Sciences. Her current research focuses on the value-oriented design of interactive systems and their effects on interactions and experiences in public spaces.
In her most recent publications, she dealt with the “Public welfare potential of digital assistants”, the question of the “Implementation of successful innovation scholarships in administration” and developed the so-called Wegbereiter as a “Conceptual working tool to support interdisciplinary thinking in digital administrative practice”.
